Admissions

Thank you for considering Today’s Learning Center. A family's choice of a private school program for its child(ren) is one of the most important decisions a family will make.  We are delighted to have the opportunity to introduce you to our school.

Please download our Admission Booklet and Brochure and tour the rest of our website to learn more about Today’s Learning Center.

Our school’s Philosophy may be found by clicking here.  Briefly, the success of TLC’s program can be attributed to the following:

  • Dedicated and caring staff and faculty
  • Small class size
  • Stimulating and nurturing learning environment
  • Differentiated instruction based on student needs and learning style
  • Classes taught by New Jersey State certified teachers.
  • Challenging curriculum that exceeds New Jersey’s core curriculum standards
  • We promote the academic, social, and emotional growth of each child

The primary goal of the application and admissions process is to enable us to become better acquainted with you and your child and determine together whether TLC can best meet your child’s, and your family’s, educational needs.

Admission to Today’s Learning Center is based on a combination of criteria, depending on the age of the child.  Children applying for Preschool and Kindergarten admission visit the classroom with their parents. This informal meeting allows the teachers, the Director and the Principal to meet with and observe the child. Admission for students in First through Eighth grades is based on a classroom visit, interview, and review of previous academic records.

We invite you to call us if you require further information or would like to arrange a tour of our school.  This is a great opportunity to observe classes in action and speak directly with the Director and faculty.

Nondiscrimination Policy
Today’s Learning Center admits students of any race, color, creed, gender national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national and ethnic origin, or gender in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarships and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
